This is a guided VIP tour of the whole of the Bird of Prey Centre. You will get to see all the birds up close and learn some interesting facts and features of each species. Your guide will be an experienced falconer with all the knowledge to answer any questions you may have.
You will also have the opportunity to Handle some of the birds from your very own glove.
Experience duration : 40 Minutes.

1/2 Hour Owl Experience

This is a 30 minute experience where you will have the opportunity to handle a variety of different Owls from our collection:
Barn Owl, Tawny Owl, Boobuck Owl, Scops Owl, European Eagle Owl, Snowy Owl, Spotted Eagle Owl.
1 Hour Owl Experience

Become A Falconer for the Day

This experience is a full day 10:30am – 3:00pm. Lunch and refreshments included.
Are you interested in learning the falconers knot? How to feed different birds and all associated husbandries?
Why not spend the day with a dedicated falconer learning everything there is to know about the ancient art of Falconry. You will have the opportunity to learn all about the various breeds of birds of prey we have at the centre, whilst having the hands-on interactive experience of handling and flying the birds to your own glove. You will also get stuck in with food preparation and bird management for flying, and all the daily tasks involved with owning and keeping these magnificent birds.
