Go-Active Falconry Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Go-Active Falconry experience terms and conditions are mandatory and exists to protect the interests of all parties from point of sale. Serving to safeguard the consumer, guests, staff and animals as well as ensuring our guests have a safe and enjoyable visit. Therefore, agreeing to these terms at point of sale, the consumer accepts these terms.
1. Bookings.
Bookings can be made by phone, email or in person. All bookings must be made in advance and payment must be received at the time of booking unless previously agreed with the directors. Dates will be provisionally held for a period of 7 days to ensure payment is received in full. Once 7 days has passed the date will be released for other bookings. Spectator places can only be purchased and booked with one other full paying participant in attendance. A charge of £15.00 is applied for all spectators unless agreed with the owner.
2. Gift Vouchers.
Participants using gift vouchers must produce their voucher upon arrival. Gift vouchers will be despatched within 48 business hours of receiving payment in full. Gift vouchers may be upgraded, further participants or observers can also be arranged with prior notice and payment having been received. The experience must be taken prior to the ‘Valid Until’ date shown on the voucher. Please ensure that you book in advance to ensure we can fit you in. Any special offers must be used within the validity period which may be shorter than the equivalent full price voucher.
Gift vouchers that have been donated by Go Active Falconry for the soul purpose of charitable gain or auction, may only be redeemed within set times and periods. They may not be able to be redeemed at peak periods such as weekends and school holidays. This will be at the discretion of the owner. All other terms and conditions of sale apply.
3. Experiences by Appointment Only.
If guests do not arrive for any given experience, for the agreed date and time then no refund or loss adjustment will be given, and the experience will be lost. For health and safety reasons late, arriving guests cannot be admitted once an experience has started. It is advised that guests arrive 15 minutes before an experience is due to start. A guest may reschedule a previously booked experience if a minimum of 1 months’ notice is given between notification of cancellation and the date of which the experience was scheduled. If one months’ notice is not given it is at the discretion of the owner whether the experience is lost or rearranged. No refunds are given. Go Active Falconry cannot be held responsible for any changes in customer personal circumstances.
4. Refunds.
Go Active Falconry does not issue refunds unless under extreme circumstances and is the discretion of the owner. All experiences will be rearranged where terms and conditions have been followed. Alternative experience options will always be provided where applicable and at the discretion of the owner. Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash or part cash.
5. Performance.
You are participating in an experience that involves animals and their performance cannot be guaranteed. While every reasonable effort is made to have the birds perform reasonably, we cannot make this a guarantee. At the discretion of Go Active Falconry the team of birds or individual bird used on any day can be subject to change. Due to the nature of these events, Go Active Falconry reserves the right to change locations and format of the various experience offered.
6. Weather.
All experiences are subject to appropriate weather conditions and may be cancelled at any time if the weather is deemed unsuitable as we cannot compromise on the welfare of our birds. If Go Active Falconry cancel due to inclement weather, we will arrange an alternative date. Issues arising from weather are not sufficient enough reason to request a refund. No refunds will be given. Rearrangements will always be made. Unfortunately travel and accommodation expenses cannot be reimbursed.
7. Behaviour.
Go Active Falconry maintains a zero-tolerance approach towards coercion or verbal abuse towards its staff members or corporate sabotage or slander (Inc. social media, mobile texting, emails and publications). Go Active Falconry encourages legitimate visitor reviews in accordance with our terms and conditions of sale. Unjustified reviews that seeks to maliciously harm or coerced, Go Active Falconry will review, and further action may be taken. Participants may be asked to leave the experience at any time where the welfare of staff, other participants or birds is felt to be at risk without rearranging or refund. Go Active Falconry cannot be held responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property resulting in behaviour contrary to prior safety briefing and advice from Falconer.
8. Children.
Children aged between 4-16 years must be accompanied by an adult as a paid participant or spectator. Age 16 restrictions can apply on specific experiences.
9. Bio Security.
Go Active Falconry cannot be held responsible for temporary, nationally imposed government animal health restrictions i.e. Avian Influenza which are outside of Go Active Falconry’s control. Although these restrictions are extremely rare, some experiences booked within these time restrictions may be affected. As a result, guests will be notified in advance and will be rescheduled but not refunded. Only where and when necessary visitors may be subject to on site bio security prevention measures on entry.
